Sale: 

The final auction week of the Spring season at Bernaerts took off with a Comics sale, making in total about 80000 €. 

This sale included numerous drawings by Willy Vandersteen with different main characters and the city of Antwerp in the background (lot 222, 4400 €/ lot 220, 3200 €). 

On the side of the sought after albums there were five that made 1400 €: Rodeo’ by Lucky Luke (lot 240), ’De Koning Drinkt’ (lot 241), ’Prinses Zagemeel’ (lot 242 and 243) and ’De Stalen Bloempot’ (lot 245). 

Other grand scale albums, with an appearnace as immaculate as can be, easily made between 300 and 800 euros.
